Edward J. McBride,
Chief Executive Officer
 
 
   


Ed McBride is the Chief Executive Officer of Change Management Associates with offices in Northern New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York and Illinois.  Prior to creating Change Management Associates in 2000 Ed held a number of executive positions in Fortune 500 firms.

His career began at Johnson & Johnson where he held positions of increasing responsibility in manufacturing, distribution and customer service.

He joined Richardson Vicks, Inc in 1969 and for the next 15 years held positions in finance, materials management, customer service, field sales, HQ sales administration, product management, marketing as well as mergers & acquisitions. His assignments included the Vicks Health Care Division and as Director of Marketing for The Home Care Products Division.

Ed was appointed General Manager of the Ross Chemical Company a wholly owned division of Henkel KGaA engaged in the manufacture and distribution of adhesive products for the commercial, professional and consumer markets.  Ed reversed four years of revenue and profit declines and then sold the company’s three plants and a distribution center thus recouping Henkel’s long term investment.

After joining IMS America (now IMS Health) Ed managed the growth of the Consumer Products Division through two acquisitions and then managed all of the contractual relationships with major pharmaceutical wholesalers and retailers.  During his tenure IMS was purchased by Dun & Bradstreet.

In 1989 at McGraw-Hill, Inc .as a senior vice president Ed launched the Sweet’s Professional Group which provided electronic information on building products and specifications to architects and engineers.  Later he became the publisher of the Sweet’s Catalog product directories.

Subsequently appointed a Senior Vice President of Standard & Poor’s (division of McGraw-Hill) Ed managed the integration of the municipal bond specialist JJ Kenny into the S&P Bond Evaluations Group.

Walsh America/PMSI appointed Ed general manager of North America for their pharmaceutical information business in 1993 and he successfully led the company to record revenue and profitability levels.

The Reed Travel Group, a division of the global publisher Reed Elsevier recruited Ed in 1996 to consolidate 5 disparate divisions into one corporate entity. While there he reversed a major publishing diversion for one of the divisions and successfully urged the Board to sell off parts of the Group.

In 1998, McBride was a co-founder and head of business relationships for Brandwise.com, an e-commerce B2B and B2C focused on using the web to provide product information to consumers and corporations where he had specific responsibility for securing business partnerships with manufacturers and retailers.

Ed holds a Bachelor of Science degree in History and Education from West Chester University and attended West Chester University’s graduate school where he studied political science.
